Disney Cruise Line Teases Its New Cruise Ship Design
A big announcement is coming next week from Disney Cruise Line.
An update on Disney’s Disney Wish cruise ship has been shared by Disney, which claims it will introduce a “new, distinctly Disney-designed concept unlike anything at sea.”
The Disney Wish will be one of the three new Triton Class ships, which will accommodate between 4,000 and 1,250 passengers.
As planned, Disney Wish was scheduled for delivery in late 2021 and to begin sailing in January 2022, but that has been delayed to an unknown date due to the current health crisis.
The Disney Wish will have a three-story atrium themed to the film Beauty and the Beast. The stern of the ship will have Rapunzel, along with Pascal.
It says the new ship will have a motif of enchantment that matches so many of the company’s films.
Disney’s new ships may also visit Castaway Cay, the cruise line’s private island, or Lighthouse Point, a private destination Disney is developing.
