TUI has announced a series of exciting wine and beer cruises aimed at those seeking something unique and fun. Passengers will be able to book the winter itineraries from June, with the trips launching by the end of the year.

The largest tour operator in the UK unveils a series of river cruises themed around beer and wine. Launched in October, the themed cruises will last between four and seven days.

There will be 155 passengers onboard Tui Maya who will enjoy special events, food and drinks, guest speakers, and very special excursions on the Rhine.

An interesting winter cruise itinerary has been put together by the tour operator for those who wish to do something a little different onboard a cruise. In October, the line will offer the cruises Wine on the Rhine, Dancing Down the Rhine, and Rhine & Stein.

Wine on the Rhine will be a seven nights trip departing from Frankfurt and calling at ports Rudesheim, Boppard, Koblenz, Speyer, Breisach and Mainz, all Germany, and Strasbourg, France.

Passengers on this wine-themed cruise can choose from nine wine-related excursions. Several of them include wine tastings and visits to historic wineries. One of the most exciting options is to spend a half-day in Obernai, in France, to taste Alsatian wines. The Wine on the Rhine cruise departs on November 20.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste beer on board every day, among other activities related to beer.

The excursions will include city tours and brewery visits, of course.

The Dance on the Rhine cruise is their third themed cruise that lasts six nights and where passengers are likely to spend the most time on the dance floor.

A professional dance couple will be onboard the cruise, and guests will have the opportunity to take dancing lessons and participate in onboard entertainment. The ship will depart from Frankfurt on November 7 and will call at Rudesheim, Boppard, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Bonn and Koblenz, all Germany.

The themed cruises are part of the line’s winter programme which also includes six Christmas and New Year itineraries running from late October to January 2022.

Passengers will be able to buy tickets from June 1.

Although the prices haven’t been released yet, the Tui Maya is also sailing other itineraries soon.

Some of the next cruises are The Moselle Valley: Vines & Views departing on August 15 with a price of £1094 per person and Rhine Gems departing on August 22 with a price of £1064 per person.
