Hilton Singapore Orchard will become Hilton’s largest hotel in the entire APAC region, with its opening now underway.
After a major refurbishment, the landmark property will become the 1,080-room Hilton Singapore Orchard in January 2022.
Following the renovation work to existing property Mandarin Orchard Singapore, Hilton Singapore Orchard is expected to provide an attractive place for travellers to stay on Orchard Road when it launches in January 2022. OUE Commercial REIT owns the Hilton-managed hotel.
Paul Hutton, vice president of operations in Southeast Asia for Hilton, said, “As a key city destination for business and leisure travellers, Singapore has great growth potential as the recovery begins and travel resumes.” “We are thrilled to welcome Hilton Singapore Orchard into our portfolio this year, presenting an iconic Hilton hotel as a gateway for travellers through South-East Asia. We look forward to delivering our renowned levels of Hilton hospitality to every guest who passes through our doors.”
Singapore Changi Airport is just half an hour away by car, making the hotel the ideal base for business and leisure travellers.
The hotel will offer 1,080 rooms and suites spread across two towers, making it one of Singapore’s largest hotels. Moreover, the property is directly connected to a four-storey luxury shopping gallery.
Among its amenities will be two 24-hour fitness centres, an outdoor pool, and a newly designed executive lounge. There will be five dining concepts in total: two Michelin-starred restaurants, Chatterbox, a casual venue, a speciality restaurant, a lobby and lounge bar, and an all-day venue.
Meetings and events will be held in 16 renovated spaces, with a total of 2,400 sq m. Two pillarless ballrooms can accommodate 700 guests, along with a pre-function area.
“Hilton Singapore Orchard will be one of the most anticipated hotels opening in 2022, adding to the vibrant scene in Orchard Road,” said Cedric Nubul, general manager of Hilton Singapore Orchard. With its 1,080 well-appointed guestrooms, one of the largest meeting rooms in Singapore’s central retail and dining district, five curated restaurants, and a favourable location, the hotel is well-suited to both business and leisure travellers, as well as Singapore’s residents.
