DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad has further strengthened the dynamic hotel market in Germany’s financial capital. The upscale brand has entered its 50th country with the launch of the 146-room DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad, its inaugural German property.

Only five miles from Frankfurt Airport, DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad is an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. Aside from being close to key transport hubs, it’s also only a short drive away from important corporate headquarters and business districts. In addition, museums, walking trails, and the city’s shopping district are only a short train ride away.

There are 146 rooms at the hotel, each with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views of Frankfurt. Plus, its all-day restaurant offers traditional European dishes, German beers, and speciality cocktails, while its versatile meeting rooms can accommodate up to 140 people.

According to Hilton Worldwide, DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad is a prime example of how the brand’s successful expansion over the past decade has been fuelled by conversions of non-Hilton properties. DoubleTree by Hilton has nearly quadrupled its property count in the last ten years – today, it has over 615 hotels with more than 141,000 rooms worldwide.

The brand’s latest outpost, DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad, is it’s first in Germany, Europe’s largest economy. It also means that the Doubletree by Hilton brand now has a presence in 50 countries around the world, from the UK and Australia to Chile and Indonesia.

Around the world, a number of other exciting projects are in development. Currently, the brand has over 200 hotels under construction, including DoubleTree by Hilton Cote des Arcadins Beach Resort & Spa in Haiti and DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti in Italy.

“DoubleTree by Hilton is one of the portfolio’s fastest-growing brands and we are delighted to celebrate the 50th-country milestone and our first hotel in Germany,” said Shawn McAteer, global brand head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “We look forward to expanding our global footprint to develop more properties in key destinations, from overwater bungalows in sought-after resort locations to high-rise rooftop bars with 360-degree views of major city skylines.”

Hilton Worldwide’s eighth property in Frankfurt is the DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad. Germany, home to 34 open hotels and 20 more on the way, is the group’s largest market in continental Europe.
