Nigerian FAAN Director, Yadudu Appointed Member Of Global Aviation Council
Captain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has been appointed member of the World Governing Council of the Airports Council International (ACI).
Mr. Yadudu was appointed alongside Emanuel Chavez of Aeroportos de Mozambique and Dewananda Chellen of Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd. These men were appointed as representatives of Africa on the Board.
Until Yadudu was appointed Managing Director of the FAAN, he was the Director of Airport Operations of the Authority.
A statement by FAAN yesterday said the appointment takes immediate effect.
The ACI World Governing Board consists of 28 representatives nominated by the regional ACI Boards plus the Immediate Past Chair of the Board. One of ACI’s main functions is representing and advising its members on numerous areas of importance to the airport business. The key priority areas of safety, security, environment, efficiency, customer service, and economic development.
