Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines (EMA) Puts Flights On Hold

Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines (EMA) has announced the cancellation of all domestic flights starting tomorrow due to the effects of the Ebola outbreak on the civil aviation industry.

Ethiopian Airlines explains that the suspension resulted from “lower demand among travellers due to restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic”.

“Despite the challenges, Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines has remained resilient through the economic challenges that have caused a drastic drop in demand for travel in the domestic market,” the statement states while pledging that the company will stay attentive to the market’s evolution.

Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines started its operations in December 2018.
