Jet2.com has delayed the return of its holiday program until July 1st due to the ongoing travel restrictions put in place to confront the upsurge of the COVID19 pandemic.
Even though the company hoped previously hoped, to begin taking passengers from June 17th, A spokesperson on Friday explained that it can’t be possible because the health and safety of every customer and employee, is an important priority, and he further states that the current situation will be closely monitored.
“Our commitment to working in partnership with independent travel agents has never been stronger, and we are contacting agents with a number of options for customers, including rebook options, rebook codes, and flexible terms and conditions” the statement continued.
The company further clarifies that the super flexible options were developed to help agents look after their customers, and the feedback from them has been satisfactory.
The statement further continued that “We have said throughout that the sun will shine again and when it does, we will be there to take customers away on their well-deserved holidays.”
The company however, explained that every agents should know that safety measures will be implemented in consultation with the relevant authorities, Hence, the safety and well-being of everybody on board are guaranteed.
